Hi,

everytime i open or edit an access database using access 2003, it sets the references to version 11
however most of my users are on access 2000, how can i get around the references error every time they open the database, withoput me having to set the references for them

Hope this is of use, Rob.[yoda]

I don't think you can. You need to make your changes in Access 2003, then open your master copy of the frontend in Access 2000 to reset your references to their Office 2000 equivalents.

Not ideal I know, but at least you only have to do it once on the master copy and not each individual user's frontend.

Ed Metcalfe.

Please do not feed the trolls.....

I had to live with it myself, until all my users updated their old A97 versions to mine A2k

oh well thanks for the replies,

Hope this is of use, Rob.[yoda]
