how to refer to control in form in other page?. for example i have a page name view & in the page i have a form name frmview and a control name txtview. how to refer to txt view from another page which e.g name delete.asp?

thanks so much

The only way to do this is in ASP is to have the original page submit the form to the second page (either using a script or by someone clicking in the submit button). Then you can request the form variables by using Request.Form("controlname"). The form must be submitted to a page to retrieve the value.

You can change the value of a control on another page with JavaScript if the first page opened the second (or they are in a frame). Both pages must be open, and they must have some link to each other (either one opened the second, or they are in frames) in order to use JavaScript like that.
