How do I reenable ftp on a sun server?

Start with checking /etc/services file and see if ports 20 and 21 are commented ( disabled)

check /etc/inetd.conf. If the ftp entry is commented out, remove the '#' from 'ftp' line and do kill -HUP to inetd daemon.
