Hi All,

We currently have 2 HMC's managing 2x 595's, 2x 570's, 1x 510.
The Private network is on a Private VLAN.
I think our setup may be wrong.
HMC1 is a DHCP server acting as the 'master'
HMC2 has DHCP server turned off and gets an IP from HMC1.
We are using one IP range.
The way I understand it, both HMC's must have DHCP server enabled (acting as peer servers).
The ranges should be different on each.
But I'm not sure how the whole thing ties in.
How should this actually be hooked up?

Thanks a lot!

you're right, the hmc's would operate on different networks independently from each other. we do this by physical isolation with private switches. so both of your hmc's will be serving up addresses. they do not communicate directly with each other.

Excellent,

Thanks Breslau!
