I'm trying to design a solution for redundant DHCP servers on a network. We have sites across the country that all DHCP off a single central server and this works fine.

The routers currently have IP HELPER configs that relay the requests back to the central server.

Question: Does IOS (12) support multiple IP Helpers in some way so that I can get failover support or load balancing?

Svend.

Hi,

Yes I run a similar solution on my test network, you can definitely have four and they are in the order that they are listed in the config.
