Redunant/Load balanced Smart UPS

Becuase of serval server room upgrades I have come aquire several APC SmartUPS 1400's. I have some departmental servers that could use some additonal power protection. Does anyone know of a way to make these ups's "aware" of each other or to set them up in such a way that I could have them load balance eachother and/or extend their runtime.

About the run time extension, it is possible only if the models are "XL" (for example Smart-UPS 1400 XL).
About load balance: It is not possible. To do that you nedd UPSs designed for this use, and APC Smart are not.
