Is it possible to reduce the volume of incoming sound at console ? Can somebody help?
Regards,

You should start with determining which calls shouldn't go directly to the attd (example: Service, Parts, Customer Care). You could setup specific numbers (800, or local) to a hunt group.

Are we talking sound volume?

The 302 consoles all have volume up/down buttons. Also, the operator should be able to adjust volume on the headset (plug-prong) adapter, like the Plantronics P10.

Are you using a different console?

Also some consoles front panel open to expose a volume control

Try that
