reducing context switching

Is there any registry setting for reducing the context switching per second of a windows 2000 server having citrix installed in it.

A high Context Switch Rate is usually cased by a problem with a network card or device driver.

I've always see context switching increase significantly after I install antivirus software on our servers. I've found no cure, but have verified if I stop the AV service, the switching will return to previous levels.
