Hi All,
I am currently running NT4/WS/SP6a on a 1.2 GHz Celeron (not connected to a network) 256 meg RAM, 40 Gig HD. It is a barebone type w/ 56K modem & 16 bit sound card, that is all to it. I am quite satisfied with performance of this machine, but is there a way that I could cut down on the boot up time to a minimum? I mean, disabling drivers that load during the boot up process that I really do not need. It takes about somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 minutes to boot, perhaps I could reduce that to 2 minutes.
Thanks for the input.
Regards,
