I have to change all the extensions at a location from 3 digits to 4 digits. How can I go about this the easiest way? What should I also look at after I change these extensions?
Thank You,
Steve

Depends on what they are now, and what you want to change them to. You need to make sure there won't be conflicts with other assigned numbers for calling groups, adjuncts, etc.

If your ports are numbered sequentially, with no gaps, you can do a "block renumber" where you specify the current starting port, ending port, and new starting extension number.

Otherwise, do single renumbers, putting in the old extension number, then the new extension number for each port. Tedious, but sometimes the best way to do it.

Programming for groups, intercom auto-dials, etc. are based on the logical id, so you won't have to reprogram these.

If you have voice mail, you will need to create new mailboxes, and change the maximum extension length.

You will also need to renumber the DSS/BLF page buttons.

Thank You, I will give this a shot.
