Redirecting to 1

I want to redirect people who visit

http://www.domain1.com

to

http://www.domain2.com/dir/

without changing the URL in the webbrowser. So although people are redirected to

http://www.domain2.com/dir/

they still see

http://www.domain1.com

in their browser. Is this possible?

called to a frameset from

http://www.domain1.com

X-) oops - this is the apache forum not the html one - well it is a good question for that forum too. i don't know how to configure apache to do that.

Hi,

Why not just change the doc root for domain1.com so that it points to domain2.com/dir/

For example:

For domain1 set DocumentRoot /

http://www/domain2/dir

Works for me...

wullie's idea is the best way (i think even the only one) to do it in apache. the only way i could think of is to use frames. one empty 1% frame at the top and the rest 99% the site from

http://www.domain2.com/dir/.
