Hi,

We have a game running on our server that is accessed by port
I want to change ports for the game.

But I want users who attempt to access the game via the old port to be redirected or forwarded to a web page.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for your help.

George

You will need to do this at a firewall/router level I think unless the game is a http style one.

Perhaps you didn't quite understand the problem. What type the game is is irrelavent.

I DON'T want the user to reach the game any more.

I want any user that points a browser to to get a web page INSTEAD of the game.

Are you using IIS? Assign a redirection to a URL for that port and you may need to move your game to a new port

I would try our IIS Forum here:
