redirecting http

Hello all:

i am trying to redirect http traffic to another
host in my network,the setup is as follows:
My web server accept connections on port 80,i need to
be able to serve connection on a different port(8080)
and redirect that port to another host,while at the
same time keep accepting connections on port 80

I have been able to redirect ftp traffic with xinetd
(having only one port to connect to)
