Hi,
I recently implemented HTTPS for our Oracle web application running with Apache webserver, the problem is... I have to leave http available because JInitiator needs a non-secure port to download it's applet. Because I have left this open the application can still be run with HTTP. Is there someway I can redirect an HTTP link to a HTTPS link? i.e.
to Thanks, Chris

Sure, have a look at this FAQ faq65-1875. BTW, if your server is setup correctly, you don't need the port number, just is sufficient.

Thanks, redirect hasn't worked so far, maybe I've been putting it in the wrong place in my httpd.conf file. The only virtual host directives in the file are... <VirtualHost _default_:443> and </VirtualHost>, does the redirect go in between? Thanks, Chris
