Hello,

I currently have a redirect from one domain to another domain. The problem is the redirect won't go to a subdomain (i.e. redirects to but I want it to redirect to and this redirect should only happen for users who have been redirected from I'm not able to change that original redirect so I wanted to know if there was some way that Apache could figure out users are coming from that domain ( in the example) to my domain ( and redirect those users to the subdomain (
Any help or pointing to the right direction to find help would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Ack, I'm sorry about that, I used the wrong terminology there. Rather than subdomain I just mean a directory in otherdomain (I'm not sure of the correct terminology for that). So the example is correct, but my terminology is wrong.

I am sure someone else will give the details, but I believe (if I understand your problem) you need to use rewrite rules that use RewriteCond with the tag HTTP_REFERRER. RedirectMatch cannot see the referrer string, and I believe that is what you need to implement the logic you need.
