Redirect to target frame...

I'm using javascript to redirect a user to another page that contains frames. When I direct to the frameset, the default page is loaded. I want to know how to target another page within the frameset. When you make a bookmark (favorite) on a page that contains frames, it will bring up what exactly you bookmarked even though the properties on the bookmark is identical as the main frame page. Is there another way to do this besides getting rid of the frames?
