redirect to external number when out of office

Hi,

We have a BCM1000 v2.5
Our mainoffice tel.number comes in at targetline 241 wich is handled by our receptionist (operator).

Is there a way to create a ringschedule say "night" where all calls at TL241 will be redirected to a predefined external number?

Ofcourse use of F84 is possible but then each time the operator has to use F84, choose line, enter destination number. We want to make it easy for the operator so he or she can just select a ringing service (F871) OR just hit a button and all is done.

Any suggestions?

sort of a back door way but it works. If you have a Table from the Voice mail then maybe try this.
1) Build Table with no Greeting.
2) Build CCR Tree and make path 0 a Transfer point to the number you want.
3) Put the Target Line in a Ring Group by itself and make the VM DN a part of that group also.
4) Have a Phone as the control set that only controls those.

Then when she puts that phone into night service the voicemail will answer and the call will follow the path of the CCR Tree.

You also could use Call Forward (Ftr4). It would require pressing Call Forward and then pressing an external dial with the outside # programmed on it. 2 presses total.

Call Forward will also forward any other lines she has set to ring on the phone. But if that is the only one then I would go with dewey it is a lot easier.

Dewey's option is easier indeed but anyway good to keep in mind that it will forward all calls. (internal calls as well I suppose)I'll try both suggestions.
