Redirect to external number from mics

I'm trying to set up line redirect call forward on a Nortel mics version 30cqe06. I've programmed the ext. to allow redirect but when I use feature84 it works OK until I try to select lines .Then it says line denied or unequipped line. I do use 9 for line pool access. When trying call forward feature4 , I try to put in external line access 9 it rejects it. I can gain access to outside line using intercom key and dialing 9.

If you are trying to Redirect a line then in Lines make sure they are "Supervised"
And under the Set make sure Redirect is set to Yes

Also look in FAQ's and look for SP codes, then decipher what actual version software you have ie.e DR X

Customer really wants external call forward. I have figured out how to do that.
