I've got a server running right now with several virtual hosts. I'm moving one of them to a new server but don't have access to the DNS records for that domain yet. Is there a way to make apache redirect all traffic for that particular subdomain to another ip address?

sd1.domain.com pointing to xxx.xxx.xxx.67 needs to forward to xxx.xxx.xxx.156. Both servers are using virtual hosts to control several different sites so i need the subdomain info to transfer with the redirect.

I only need a temperary solution until I get the DNS changed but that could take a week and I need this transfered ASAP.

Yes I do. I'm basiclly moving 1 virtual host from one server to the other.. both servers are setup with multiple domains using virtual hosts.

Yes, I have mod_rewite and have used it several times.

I would like to be able to do this without setting this one domain as the default address for that server, however, if I have to for now, it can be done.
