Redirect stopped working

I set up a new user (BB 7280 on AT&T) using desktop redirect on a PC in our lab. It was working great -- email was forwarding and synching was working properly. User however carries a notebook and this is why I couldn't set up redirect on his notebook. After a week of testing, I installed Desktop Manager on his notebook so he could synch calendars and contacts. Redirect is not active, I made sure of this. Ever since I did this, email is no longer redirecting. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

ps. looked through forum adn couldn't find any answers :-(
 
Is the Laptop using POP3 to retrieve email? or has it got a MAPI or profile created ? Sometimes you can still recieve emails but cannot reply. check the profile and make sure that the laptop is using the corporate exchange mail server to send/recieve mails.
