I am looking for a way to redirect the operator mailbox to a different extension mailbox.

Currently when you call into our system if you dial xxx-xxx-x414 this is a ring group that rings on multiple phones. If there is no answer it gets forwarded to voicemail box 426. This works fine.

If you dail our main number you will get the system attendant that says to press 1 do this etc. Option 0 is setup as a voicemailbox transfer only to 414. If you press 0 it will ring 414 and if anyone is around to answer you will get through. The problem is if no one answers rather than going to the 426 mailbox like it does if you dial 414 directly it instead goes to the operator mailbox.

How can I change this so instead of going to the operator mailbox it would go to the 426 mailbox like dialing 414 does?

I hope that is not too confusing.

Thanks

I think that what is happening is that the dial 0 call is recalling on no answer back to the voicemail and hence the operator mailbox. Maybe if you extend the length of the no answer recall timer for the voicemail ports it will have long enough to route to mailbox 426.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

I am so sorry for not getting back until today but I have been swamped with work and finally have time to look into this again.

I see 2 suggestions above and I will try either but I am not exactly sure where to make these changes at. Any help would be great.

Thanks
