Redirect mail for "root" user 2

I few years ago, I remember changing a modifying a file to redirect mail for the "root" user. The mail is currently directed to be sent to two other Internet mail addresses and I need to make a change to the list. Problem - I can't remember the location and file name. Can someone remind me where this file is located?

look for /.forward

I have checked the /.forward file, but it is empty. Is there another location I should be checking for the .forward file?
