redirect localhost 1

hi there is server when you type

http://localhost

it redirects to

http://localhost/intranet/pages/details.asp

How they do that?

I can't find where that path is defined so I can replicate it.

Most probably there is a index.asp or default.asp in the root of the default web site with a meta-refresh to the path you described.

This is not a default path.

Yes, I did find, that there was a default.asp page that was just redirecting it to the other path. That was my initial thoughts, but the network person was pretty certain it was configured with IIS.
