redirect HTTP to HTTP site

My company outsources for domain services and I want to create a DNS A record to redirect to another server. So I want to create something like... example.domain.com and have that redirect to a website that is

https://home.domain2.com.

is there a way to do this? I have the https server ip adddress but it does not work because of the encrption.

You'll want to set up a basic web server on example.domain.com and have it redirect visitors to

https://home.domain2.com.

It could even be done on the same server using virtual hosts.

That way the browser will use home.domain2.com and the SSL will work without warnings.
