I need to change the current default stty settings so that they are initialized when the /mingetty or /mgetty is run. The current issue is that I can update stty from the .bash_profile, but sometimes that is too late.
Any examples or info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The too late was in reference to...
The stty settings must be recogized and loaded when the getty is initially polled for the user login.
These are dumb terminals (vt200, wyse50) that are running on a Digi Etherlite term server. One dumb terminal has a scale attached to the second communications port (SER-2) while the first communications port (SER-1) is connected to the server.

Have you looked at the options available to you in mgettydefs?
