RedHat 9 Boot Issue

This is likely a stupid question but I just installed RedHat 9.0 and when it boots up the screen goes blank until the boot process finishes. I can "dmesg" to see what occurred during the boot process, but there are times when I need to monitor it realtime.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution.
