I have a Redhat 8.0 Webserver on a Pentium II 350MHz, that works just fine. It does everything I want it to do.

But now I have a problem, well a problem.. The time for a change has come. I have a Pentium 233 Laptop with 32MB Ram, and a 2MB Video Card, and a Xircom Ethernet Card. I want to set up an Apache Webserver with PHP, MYSQL, ModSSL and OpenSSL on RedHat 8.0.

A Graphical environment is not an option with 32MB Ram and 2 MB video, so I want to set up a server from shell. I try to get an installation with minumum packages installed.

Does anyone know which specific RedHat packages should be installed, before I can install the Apache/PHP/MySQL/ModSSL/OpenSSL packages, without any problems?

Well, I would think that if you choose to install requisit packages you will get all you need.

You might want to install some extra tools afterwards though (vi, tar, awk, etc).

I'm sorry for asking, but what you mean is: a minimum installation should be enough?

Installing vi in this case is not neccessary I think, because it is already installed with a minimum installation...
