How do you make another ftp daemon run? As of the upgrade, instead of using proftpd, it uses wu_ftp. I want it to run proftpd again.

Thanks in advance!

Well I figured one way. I just copied the wsftp file in /etc/xinetd.d/ and made it proftpd, changed a few loadup variables, then activated it in ntsysv.

If you have any suggestions that may be better, feel free to.

Thanks!

I would do the following...
disable wu-ftp by editing the xinet.d/wu-ftp file and adding disabled = yes

then I would reinstall proftpd and have it start up as standalone using an rc init script.

Its cleaner that way, and uses less system resources IMO
