I just installed redhat 6.0 (workstation install) on to my computer shut it down like the install procces said to do and restarted my computer, Lilo booted the kernel and the kernel loaded init 2.74 and it did checks on my partions and linux configurations, but the system sundenly stops after "Adding group and user quotas [ok]" The hard drive stops spinning and ctrl alt delete doesnt't work. Ive tried leaving it on like that over night and it is still frozen like that. The lilo boot disk doesnt help and the only init I could find when using the rescue disk the only init I could find is the init for the rescue disk. I have tried geting help at various souces with out response. I would really like to use linux but if it wont boot then I'll be forced to return to windows 95
