Redeploy in weblogic managed server

Hi

I have a webapplication deployed in exploded format under a managed server in weblogic .

I changed one of the classes in the WEB-INF folder . I scheduled the managed server to restart in night since I could not do that during day time.

But even after restarting the server , it did not pick up the new class. Do I have to specifically redeploy the application.

I believe changes only get automatically deployed if you're not in production mode. If you're in production mode, you have to do a redeploy.
