Redempton HTMLbody - readOnly!!?

I am trying to send an email via redemption which iis HTML... andthought I would need to use .htmlbody as below...

sm.HTMLBody = strMessageBody

but it doesn't work and says that the property is readonly!!!

How would I send a html email?
help appreciated.
