Red 'Power' Light on Expansion Module

Hi,

I have a red led on my BCM50 DSM16+ expansion module. Is this normal as I've not seen the led as red before. The power led on the main unit is solid green?

Any comments gratefully accepted.

Does the fan make a draining sound when you power up the unit? If it does, I ran into the same problem and had to replace it out.

Thank you for your response, on further investigation it turned out to be a faulty DSM16+.
