red light on the CKE4 processor card 4

SOrry to ask a stupid question, but the little
led light on the cke4 processor card is Red, i thought
it was green before, what does this indicate? or is it
normally red? its the one right above the SMDR and ADMIN
ports, thanks

I belive that means there is a system alarm! If you go to a phone and program an alarm button you could see what kind of alarm I dont know what the alarms are though sorry..

Connect to the system with WinSPM. You can look at the alarms under maintenance I think, it's in there somewhere. Go throught the list and delete them. You can generate an alarm in a number of ways. If you have more than one cabinet and turn the main one off after turning the other(s) off or if you turn the main cabinet on, then any others you will generate an alarm. If you lose 50% of the lines in your main pool it will also generate an alarm. There are other things but these are the most common.

Under STANDARD SPM, go to Maintenaince, System, Error Log and look at PERMENANT, observe what the errors are, if any, and "DROP" them. Then go back and do the same thing under TRANSIENT.

It's a good idea to know what the system sees as a failure.

That way, if they come back, you can start trying to troubleshoot the cause of the problem.
