We've got a TDA200 system connected to a TVA200 with 2 LCOT16 cards and 2 DLC16 cards. (I know, "go to PRI", I keep telling them)

The problem is this. Randomly, the system will blank out several phones (the screen on many phones goes blank) and then the they come back - existing calls are still connected - the caller just hears dead air for about 10 seconds.

I finally got the client to look at the system immediately after an event and one of the LCOT16 cards and one of the DLC16 cards are lit red instead of green.

The only way they can get the system back is to restart it.

Should I look to the power supply? Is one of the cards going?

Anyone have this happen before?

Thanks!!

what rev ?are they first generation tda cards?

yep new cards will show as ver 3.001
I personally have had many first generation
card failures and have lost a first generation
power supply .you were supposed to swap that
dlc card out free of charge

Is that still an option?

I have a gen 1 card in my home system too.

it only applies if you are a usa certified dealer
and really not sure about the cutoff !!

I'm aware of a fuse problem with the 0172 cards, but that caused the card to go dead, not indicate with a red LED, the LED would not illuminate at all. Is there another 'factory' problem with the card?

i'll bet they lost money on that 1:1 swap

My supplier is being vague about if they knew about the swap. Do you have a link regarding the swap? My supplier asked me for any "proof" there was a swap so he could "investigate" the situation.

Thanks!

was late last summer don't have the tech bulletin and the my first generation cards and the power supply in that machine had all actually faild before the offer and were repaired free of charge!!

Depending on the age, you might still be able to send it in for repair to Atlanta. Call you Panasonic Dealer sales rep to verify.

update the latest lpr software for dlc/dhlc is 5.002
