Red Hat 8 and Dell Optiplex GXMT 5166

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone has ever successfully installed Red Hat onto an old Dell Optiplex GXMT 5166? If so, how? One recently fell into my posession and was thinking about possibly turning it into a machine to practice Linux on. I tried installing it myself via boot disk and CDs but it froze halfway through the process (an extremely slow one at that).
