I am trying to see if I can pull myself away from Windows so I was going to test out Red Hat 8.0 since I heard some good things on it. I fire it up to boot from CD and I get to the part where I use Disk Druid to create my partitions. Every time I try that, I lock up and have to turn the PC off. I have other partitions on the HD that contain Windows. Is Red Hat telling me that it is not the Windows killer it was intended to be? I mean if I can't even get thru the installer, I don't have much faith in it. What could possibly cause this to get stuck everything on creating the partitions?
