Need some advice here.
I'm doing a full restore of a Red Hat 2.6 server. Hardware on new destination server is exactly the same. About an hour into it it gives me an error code 5 and suspends and the destination server becomes messed up and I can't ssh into it. I end up rebuilding it and starting over again. Should I not be trying to do a full restore to this such as not restoring /boot? I'm on my 2nd attempt so I don't know if it's going to happen again.
Also, if this ever succeeds, I know I have to reload the grub boot blocks at boot. Does anyone remember exactly how to do that or do I just go into command mode and try the menus?
