Hi there,

Users having been deleting old data since I have installed space guard quota software. The deleted data goes stright to the recycle bin thus still accounting for space on the Windows 2003 server hard drives, when they empty the recycle bin, it is some how still taking up the server HD space, but you cannot see these files any where, the recycle bin icon is still showing full too.

Please help?

The recycle bin has x% of space reserved wether it is full or empty. You can adjust the space by going to...

On windows XP
To change the storage capacity of the Recycle Bin
On the desktop, right-click Recycle Bin, and then click Properties.
Move the slider to increase or decrease the amount of disk space that is reserved for storing deleted items.
Important

A deleted item that is larger than the storage capacity of the Recycle Bin will not be saved. It will be permanently deleted.
