Here's one that I've had for awhile, can't figure out. Any Recycle Bin operation gives this message:

Error Deleting File
Cannot delete DC73: Access is denied.
Make sure disk is not full...file is not currently in use

Hit OK and I can proceed. So, just clicking on Recycle Bin does this. Emptying Bin does this, changing Bin size does this, even at 0 size. Switched from one Recycle Bin to one Bin per drive, same message. Always hit OK and continue. Weird.

DC73 must be a temp file, but can't find with search. Scanned for worms/trojans, none.

Just annoying at this point, no other apparant problems.

NT4 sp6a, Proxy 2.0, DNS caching only, and that's it!

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried running chkdsk over all your partitions? [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

Thanks, I'll try this. Live box, though, so CHKDSK won't do C: because it asks if I want to run CHKDSK on restart (can't lock drive for exclusive use).

Did run CHKDSK C: in read-only mode and found a few errors.

Maybe I'll try over the weekend when no one on.

Thanks for your suggestion!
