Recurring Meeting Failure

Hi All

When a user tries to book a reoccuring meeting with a room resource and that room is unavailable for 1 instance, then the whole reoccuring meeting request fails. I would have thought it would book all the available dates and just fail on the unavailable one. I also noticed that even if it fails, it books those dates in the user's own calendar.

Is there any setting that would allow someone to book a reoccuring meeting even if 1 or more dates are busy?

Found the setting, using OWA to login to each room mailbox there is a hard and percentage setting that allows conflicts.

You set this to a hard figure or percentage you want. This way you can book a large number of recurring meetings, and have a couple of those appointments unavailable the whole series will still be accepted.

If you go to Options > Resource Settings. The 2 options are in the Allow Recurring Meetings set.

Allow up to this number of individual conflicts - hard figure

Allow up to this number of individual conflicts - %%%%
