Recurring error message

Hey, hopefully someone can help me out with this one. We have been receiving an error message on one of our servers every night at the exact same time, I have looked through the Novell knowledgebase and have not been able to find anything that describes the problem and solution very well, here's the error message that comes up:

Free detected corrupt trailing redzone for node 0xC8EE1480, node size 472

Hi,

What time does it happen? What is running on the server?

Research what other process occur at this time (i.e. Backup starts, some maitenance routine, etc...). This will at least give you a place to start looking.

I have had the same error and found it was caused by the Norton Antivirus on the Server. Norton said it is Novell Problem and Novell say it is caused be Norton. No ill effects is caused be this message, so I have not bothered with it since.

Thanks for the advice spi200, I have found that it is definitely Norton's, it's the real time virus scan that apparantly causes it, in case anyone has the same issue in the future.
