I have a user on WinXP who, whenever he reboots his machine, gets a brief Peachtree 2004 installation dialog. It takes about 10 seconds and it seems to do some kind of installation. But the odd thing is that whether you let the install complete or you cancel, it ALWAYS does it again when the machine is rebooted.
It only happens on his login. Someone else can log onto the machine and it doesn't happen. It does not happen when he just logs off/logs on, but only if he restarts or shuts down. It does not happen when he logs onto another machine.
I've looked in the registry, is msconfig, in the startup menu, in sysedit and nothing refers to the Peachtree install (or windows installer) at startup. Peachtree seems to be perfectly functional (even if he cancels that install progress).
Any ideas on how to make this stop? Thanks much!
