Hi, a report has two colored rectangles with its Left and Width properties set in Detail_Format event by a function, that receives the record values. These two rectangles represents two time periods over a months time ruler.

In Print Preview these two rectangles appear in the exact correct position, but once printed they appear with a low right displacement.

Is there any way of avoiding that and matching the Print Preview with the same once printed?

Thanks for any help given.

The preview attempts to display what the printed report will look like. Fix your report positioning for print and ignore slight differences in the preview. Different printers and drivers might make these more similar.

Thanks dhookom.

Does it mean that the printed report will always be the same in differrent printers and drivers, while the preview can match or not (with slight differences) with the printed report depending of them?

I'm not sure. I would expect different printers to support different functionality. The drivers for the printers and the screens should deliver nearly identical reports.
