What kind of index/database recovery tools are available for Paradox, and in everyone's experience, how well do they work?

101 little bugs in the code,
101 little bugs,
Take one out and recompile,
102 little bugs in the code.

Chimney Sweep has a good reputation but I've never used it. I always used the Table Repair tool (not 100% reliable) and TUTility (for 4.0 table).

Mac :)

Chimney Sweep is really quite good. Besides being able to repair tables, indexes to those tables, and other data errors it can also be set up to run unattended at scheduled times.

Scheduling is not limited to a single definition either. CS provides a means to set multiple days of the week, weekends only, or any combination thereof. Since each scheduled job has it's own parameters daily runs can be minimal with weekend runs being setup to be much more complete.

Tech support is also very good with typical e-mail responses from Sundial Services on the same day information is requested.

I highly recommend it. If interested here is their link;
