We have an old HP 9000 series, it is running the old LIF filesystem. Off late it has begun to kill processes, so we need to hook op a new pc instead of it.

Problem is it has some Basic programs we NEED to get out first, because we have some very expensive equipment that is useless without the Basic code.

So we really could need some help on how to mount this ancient filesystem, so we can extract the BASIC code. Can anyone help us with this problem?

It would be really nice with some answers please...

If you have data on a harddrive that you can't read and need very bad I would contact Ibas
They can normally save most of the data on a faulty harddrive.

They cost a lot, but they are read pro's.

Well it's not that we can't read it, it's that it is rule by this wierd ancien file system, that ONLY hp uses :S

Thx a bundle, i think this might put us somewhere.
