I have all my archive logs and would like to create a new database rolled back to a point in time. Is this possible? If so do you have any advice or sites showing how to do that?

Thanks

Cassidy

Also take a look at chapter 13 in the Backup and Recovery Advanced User's Guide. It is probably more specific to your purpose of creating a clone of an existing database, rolled back to a point in time.

13 Creating and Updating Duplicate Databases with RMAN

This chapter describes how to use the DUPLICATE command to create a duplicate database for testing purposes.

Thansk. Take me a bit to try it out. I will let you know my luck.

Thanks

Cassidy
