For reasons I prefer not to discuss,I have transaction log backups for which I don't have a full backup for integration. The tran logs contain data that it might be helpful in a recovery challenge I face. Is there any way to extract data from those tran logs?

Not without the full backup. With enough time and a hex editor you might be able to make it work, but it'll be a hell of a lot of work and it'll take a consultant with a LOT of knowledge of the SQL Server backup internals. You'll also need to have all the transaction logs.
