Recovering data from tapes URGENT

If a client server has been removed from commserve but I need to explore the tapes and do a backup of data on them is this at all possible?

you can use media explorer to view the data/Jobs on the tape
That will let you recover any data on it to another location other that the original.. I never remove/delete decommissioned server from the commcell. You lose the ability to browse any data on the removed server from the GUI
