recovering data from reiserfs to osx

I have a pc laptop with motherboard damage, but a good hard drive. It has a dual-boot of WinXP and SuSE Linux 9.3. I have an enclosure for the dead laptop's drive that plugs into my mac via USB. It works great, except that my mac only sees the XP partition. All of the data I want is on the linux side.

Has anyone else had to do this? Are there any programs (preferably freeware) that I can use to do this job?

try reinstalling the boot screen for linux, its a long shot but it could work
