Does anyone out there know how to recover data from corrupt tables...I dont care about the forms etc... I have tryed using the Jetcomp.exe utility and it will not finish..It tells me the database needs to be repaired...when i aptemp to repair it, it crashes and says...database it not a reconized format.. I also tryed importing the tables into SQL server but no luck...Is there a way to do this? I have a good backup as of friday but we enter hundereds of records daily..im just trying to avoid entering that data again..

any help would be appreciated

DVannoy, Some suggestions:
Export the data into Excel.
Open a new, empty Access db and import the tables (may have to do this one at a time).
Try EXPORTING the tbls into a empty Access db.
If you can find the corrupted record(s) in the table(s), delete only that record(s) and try a compact and repair again.
Check if there is an ldb file hanging out there and delete it-then open the db and compact and repair again.
Copy the tbl structure into a new blank db, and try importing the records into the new blank db.
Will try to think of anything else, HTH, Montrose

Have you tried the blank db and importing INTO it? How about an ldb file hanging? I'm still hunting around, 'cause I've used all of the stuff I mentioned-but I knwo I just recently saw something else. I'll keep looking..... Learn what you can and share what you know.
